John Pcolinski

For Dupage County Circuit Court Judge

Practicing law is both an honorable profession and a privilege. For those inclined to serve their community, it creates the opportunity to creatively solve problems and resolve conflict. Denise and I
have been more than blessed with successful, albeit different, practices of law and have personally benefitted immeasurably from the service of others and valuable institutions in DuPage County. We have been pleased to help those institutions in ways large and small. We are proud to see many respectable and thoughtful young men and women come out of the various programs in which we have participated. We have strived to give back to the community in mentorship, coaching, teaching and pro
bono efforts. I now seek election to the office of Circuit Judge as a way to cap a long legal career.

I can help to maintain the integrity of the legal system and to foster a perception of fairness within the court system in the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit.

The Leadership Our County Needs

John is the right balance of experience, integrity and community involvement that Dupage County needs and deserves in a Circuit Judge.

Kevin McQuillan

“I have known John since I migrated my practice to DuPage County about 15  years ago, both socially and in the courtroom. While outside the courtroom John does not take himself too seriously he is a congenial but tough and civil opponent in the courtroom. I am supporting John because I firmly believe he has the knowledge and will have the appropriate judicial temperament to be a Judge I will respect and enjoy appearing before. Please
join me in supporting John for judge.”

Matthew Thomas

“[I]f you end up in court you will want a fair and balanced judge.  John has represented my family, myself and my business for over 20 years.  He will make a great judge so when you cast your votes do DuPage County and me  a favor and vote for John”

Wendy Haynes-Hennessy

“We have known this wonderful man for Many years! John has our vote!”

Law Office of David W. Clark, P.C.

“ I have known John Pcolinski for over 20 years, first as a legal adversary and then serving on a DCBA committee together. His integrity and legal acumen are stellar. His legal reasoning and writing are excellent but what sets him apart is that he actually cares about the law and follows it as written”.

As the current chair of the Supreme Court Committee on Character and Fitness for the Second Appellate District I am tasked by the Supreme Court with determining whether particular applicants for licensure possess the requisite fitness and character to practice law.

Community Involvement

This candidacy is about wanting to give back to the community which has given so much to Denise and me. I have been fortunate to impact the lives of youth through coaching and working on endowments meant to keep salaries of private schools competitive with public schools.

My legal expertise and experience is I believe broader than most in our profession. While primarily
attracting clients in the civil arena during my career, I represented clients in criminal and family law
matters including cases involving allegations of aggravated battery to a police office, domestic violence
and serious driving charges.
